Kelly Stevens hails from Battleground, WA. He joined the Coast Guard to learn "sailor talk" like, "shiver me timbers," and "avast lubber!" He thought it might sound good on the radio, and tried it out in Olympia, WA; Stockton, CA; and Sacramento, CA.
Alpha Trivette was born and raised in Ladysmith, VA. He worked at the White House, graduated from Virginia Tech, worked in Public Relations, became a Stand-Up Comic, and acted in a few movies and TV shows. He started in radio in Charlotte, NC, then moved to St. Louis, MO.
They were thrown into a room together in Seattle, Washington and have since seen the sunrise in some of America's greatest cities!

We have been a morning team, the Kelly and Alpha Show, for 21 years, beginning in Seattle and winding up the last 10 years in Atlanta. Our stops in between were Kansas City, Tampa and Denver.

I have been a leadership and motivational speaker and my partner, Kelly is all things Oprah...even though he's a big, burly, Harley-rider. Recent events in both our lives have grounded us and strengthened us even further.
Our show, however is more about our listeners than it is about us. We prep it to be fun and topical and inclusive of our lives but each day, we invite our listeners to be the stars. We involve them, without being insulting or condescending all the while, respecting them and the format.
Off the air, we avail ourselves to the entire staff as we establish and enhance our exposure and station profile. We work with management and clients to build our brand and station revenue. Our personal endorsements generated millions of advertising dollars, as we built long-term client relations here in Atlanta with Air Tran, Kroger and others.
